How to Change Music in Super Smash Bros Melee

"Super Smash Bros. Melee" on the GameCube features characters and stages from past Nintendo games. Audiophiles can also hear new remixes of classic music from games such as "Mario Bros." and "The Legend of Zelda." Upon fully unlocking all of the secrets within the game, a new mode known as "Sound Test" will be available. From here, every piece of music can be played at your leisure. Unlocking "Sound Test" will also allow alternate music to be played during battle.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through "Vs Mode" 1000 times to unlock all 11 hidden characters in the game. Once these characters are unlocked, new events will be added to "Event Mode."

  Complete all 51 events in the "Event Mode." Upon completion, you will unlock "Sound Test."

  Visit the "Sound Test" from the main menu to hear music from the game. Doing so will also unlock the ability to play alternate music during battles.

  Enter the "Vs. Mode" and select your characters. Press "A" to confirm your selections. You will be taken to the "Stage Select" screen.

  Hold down "L" or "R" on the controllers of all participants while selecting the stage to play on. When you press "A" to confirm the stage selection, continue to hold down "L" or "R."

  Release all buttons as the battle begins. You will hear alternate music being played in the stage.

  Hold down "L" and "R" when starting adventure mode and before you select each stage. Once you begin the stage, the music will change from the standard tunes.
