True Jedi Status
Lego Star Wars may feature the first three episodes of the saga, but that doesn't mean you can't get a taste of the classic settings of a New Hope. There is a door located within Dexter's Diner that is labeled with a question mark. In order to unlock this door, you will have to gain True Jedi Status on every one of the game's 17 levels. Don't expect to obtain the status during your first play-through of the game. Instead, after you complete each level, choose to replay it under "Free Mode." This will allow you to reenter the level and fully explore it using any character you have unlocked in the game. To gain True Jedi Status, collect enough studs in each level to fill your Jedi meter. Once the meter begins to flash, you have unlocked the status and can continue to the end of the level. Once you've achieved this on every level, you can enter the question mark door and play through Episode IV, a New Hope. Complete this prelude to the original trilogy and you'll unlock Princess Leia, a Rebel Trooper, a Storm Trooper and Darth Vader for use during free play.
Cheat Codes
Fully embrace the dark side by entering cheats in the Diner to ensure you'll see the end credits in record time. Visit Dexter at the main counter to enter these codes. Input 4PR28U to unlock invincibility. Invincibility will prevent you from ever dying, meaning you'll never lose any studs and can achieve True Jedi Status much faster. To alter your blasters, enter L449HD for Classic and NR37W1 for Silly. If you've decided to go all out with wacky characters, input RP924W to have every character wear a mustache during the game.
Unlocking Characters
Playing through each level in Lego Star Wars will unlock additional characters for the game, but if you're lacking in patience, you can skip the work and unlock characters at the Diner. For the dual lightsaber-wielding Darth Maul, enter H35TUX, while the wheezing droid Grevious is unlocked by entering SF321Y. Samuel L. Jackson fans can slice through the droid army as Mace Windu by entering MS952L, while Boba Fett's father, Jango, is unlocked with PL47NH.
