Hydra Part X
Hydra Part X is acquired during the City Trial. This is the only one of the three parts that must be acquired in a single race. All of the gray houses along the beach must be destroyed to unlock this part. The beach is located in the southern part of the city. The Swerve Star is the best choice for this particular task because it's not bounced back when it runs into the houses like the other air machines. This makes destroying all of the houses less frustrating.
Hydra Part Y
Hydra Part Y is unlocked in the Destruction Derby Stadium of "Kirby Air Ride." This part is unlocked by defeating a total of 150 rivals in any Destruction Derby event. The easiest way to achieve this score is to repeatedly play the Destruction Derby against level one rivals. The Compact Star air machine is a good choice for accomplishing this goal. The high control of the Compact Star is well-suited for the Destruction Derby. Top speed makes less of a difference during this particular event.
Hydra Part Z
Hydra Part Z is unlocked in the Kirby Melee Stadium. This part is unlocked by defeating a total of 1,500 enemies in this stadium. This is usually the last part to be unlocked in "Kirby Air Ride." Kirby Melee Stadium 1 is the better choice for achieving this goal. The sword attack should be the main one used during the event. You just need to charge every large cluster of enemies during the event, and this should consistently give about 75 kills per round. Kirby Melee Stadium 2 is the worst choice for this task because it is difficult to get more than 50 kills a round in that stadium. Keep repeating Kirby Stadium Melee 1, and the Hydra Part Z should be unlocked within 20 matches.
