Harvest Moon Magical Melody was released for the Nintendo GameCube in November of 2005. It was published and developed by Marvelous Interactive and Natsume.
Gameplay
Similar to the Harvest Moon games before it, Magical Melody has you raising a farm to fruition while developing ties with the local residents. The ultimate goal is to have a prosperous farm, a husband/wife and a child. When the game ends, it rates you on your performance.
Exclusivity
Harvest Moon Magical Melody is exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube. However, if you have a Nintendo Wii, you can still play it, since the Wii can play all GameCube games.
Benefits
The Harvest Moon franchise can be beneficial, as it teaches management and budgeting skills. Since all of the dialogue is done in text, it also aids in reading and literacy.
