How to Buy Nintendo Gamecube Games
Begin by visiting a local used game store such as Game Crazy or GameStop. Most retailers of new games will not carry GameCube games since Nintendo ceased production of the console and discs in February of 2007. As of 2009, both GameStop and Game Crazy carry GameCube games in their stores.
Visit an online retailer such as Amazon.com if you wish to purchase new GameCube games. Many online retailers still have unopened copies of games for the GameCube and often at prices lower than a traditional retailer.
Look for specific games on dedicated used game sites. Dawdle.com is a site where users list games they have for sale as well as games they wish to purchase. If you don't see the GameCube game you want for sale, make a listing on how much you're willing to pay for the title.
Check a video or game rental store or website. Often renters will offer games for sale or in the case of GameFly.com, games that are rented can then be kept for a set price. This will give you the option to try the GameCube game before you purchase it.
Visit garage sales or speak with friends who are getting rid of their older consoles and games. You may be able to purchase some GameCube games from a friend who is trying to save money for a Wii. The same is true of garage sales, who are trying to clear out space and will offer deals on the games.
