      Purchase the Game Boy Player adapter for the GameCube; you'll likely need to search secondhand video game stores for it. This device is the same length and width of the console and about one-fourth the height and comes with a GameCube disc labeled "Game Boy Player." You need both the adapter and disc,

      Install the Game Boy Player onto the GameCube console, which connects to the bottom of the console. Remove the panel on the console bottom that opens the high-speed port in the rear corner and the adapter will easily line up with the console. When connected, the adapter's cartridge slot will be in the front of the console.

      Insert a Game Boy Advance cartridge into the slot in the front of the Game Boy Player. Load the Game Boy Player disc into the console. Make sure the console is properly plugged in and connected to the TV.

      Turn on the console. After the GameCube screen comes up, the Game Boy game will load up on the screen.
