Play the game until the grave eclipse event has been triggered. This is part of the story and cannot be missed.
Return to the city of Ayuthay and use the whirlwind ability while standing on the rafts to cross the water. Continue using the rafts and jumping across the lily pads until you reach the ruins.
Go up the steps and enter the door. Turn right and follow the path until you are outside again.
Climb up the vine to the left and then continue left. Enter the door next to the tree.
Walk to the right and enter the door next to the tree root. Follow the path to the exit and you will see two bodies lying on the ground.
Cast "spirit sense" to hear a conversation between the two about a treasure note they hid in Kaocho. They also reveal the location of the treasure note, hidden away in a cracked stone near the Kaocho palace stairs.
Retrace your steps to exit the ruins and then leave Ayuthay.
Travel to Kaocho north of Ayutha and make your way to the palace. Take the northeast route through town so that you end up on the wall of the palace next to the stairs.
Cast "Grip" on the flag pole opposite you to cross the gap and then examine the cracked stone to find the treasure note. Use the treasure note to see a description of how to reach the pirate treasure's location. According to the note you have to sail west from a hand-shaped reef.
Exit the town and return to your ship, which is docked near the town of Ayuthay.
Use the world map on the top screen of the DS as a guide to sail to the north-eastern part of the world. Here you will find five rocks that are sticking out of the water in the shape of a hand.
Position the ship below the hand-shaped rocks and then sail directly to the west. If done correctly, you will reach the lost ship soon after sailing into some dark fog.
Explore the lost ship to find treasure chests containing items and gold coins. You can also battle the Star Magician boss to acquire the Azul Summon tablet for use in battle.
