How to Get a Pug on Nintendogs: Dalmatian

In "Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends," you choose your first puppy from a selection of adorable dog breeds. When you play with and take care of your dog, you earn Trainer Points as a reward. You unlock new dog breeds at different Trainer Point levels. If you get enough Trainer Points, you'll unlock the pug to buy at the pet shop.

Instructions

- 1
  Take care of your puppy by giving it food and water, playing with it and grooming its fur. You earn Trainer Points each time you meet your dog's needs.

  Pet your puppy when it does a trick or obeys your command. Petting reinforces positive behavior and makes it easier to earn Trainer Points.

  Have your puppy compete in trainer competitions. You'll earn Trainer Points if your dog wins. In a competition, your puppy must navigate an obstacle course and do tricks at your command.

  Play catch with your dog. When the dog brings back a ball you've thrown, pet its head until it starts to sparkle to get some Trainer Points. Repeat this as many times as you like.

  Take your puppy for walks. You can take your dog for a walk every 30 minutes, and each walk earns you Trainer Points.

  Collect 16,000 Trainer Points to unlock the pug breed. Go to the pet store to buy the pug.
