How to Go to the Bowhole in Dragon Quest IX

"Dragon Quest IX" for the Nintendo DS features a very large world map. It's easy to get lost, especially when your destination is far from your starting point. One example is the Bowhole dungeon, located far from Wormwood Creek, the town where you first receive a task involving the dungeon. Knowing the exact location of the Bowhole will not only save you time, but healing items as well, as you can avoid additional battles caused by wandering in the wrong direction.

Instructions

  Leave Wormwood Creek and travel northwest along the path until you reach a bridge facing west.

  Cross the bridge and travel west along the path. When the path comes to an end, continue traveling west through the forest until you find the path once again.

  Travel northwest along the path until you reach another bridge, this time facing north.
- 4
  Cross the bridge and follow the path directly north until you reach the Bowhole -- easily recognizable, as it's the only patch of forest in the area.
