How to Transfer an SD Card's Info Onto Your DSi

Your Nintendo DSi includes a System Settings menu that enables you to copy files from an SD memory card to the device. You can copy games, music files with extensions such as M4A, MP4 or 3GP, and photographs captured in DSi Camera mode and saved to an SD card with a capacity of up to 32GB. Before accessing System Settings, initialize the Nintendo DSi Shop controls to enable the Data Management options.

Instructions

      Tap the ̶0;Shop̶1; icon on the menu and wait for the Internet connection to start. The System Settings button will display on the menu only after you connect online and enter the Nintendo DSi Shop for the first time.

      Press the ̶0;Power̶1; button to display the menu, select ̶0;System Settings̶1; -- designated by a wrench icon -- and then press ̶0;Start̶1; to open a list that includes Data Management.

      Select ̶0;Data Management,̶1; and then tap ̶0;SD Card̶1; to open the file list.

      Select the data file you want to copy, tap ̶0;Copy,̶1; and then follow the prompts to complete this task. If you get the message ̶0;This data already exists. Overwrite saved data?̶1;, tap ̶0;Yes,̶1; and then tap ̶0;Yes̶1; again. Keep the card in the slot until the transfer completes, and then tap ̶0;OK̶1; on the Copied screen.

      Tap ̶0;System Memory̶1; to check that the data has been copied to your DSi console.
