How to Get to the End of Otka Island in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

In ̶0;Golden Sun: Dark Dawn,̶1; the game doesn't end after you've beaten the final boss. Otka Island is a secret area designed for high-level characters, and it only opens for post-game exploration. Once you've entered the Otka Island caves, you must make your way through a daunting maze filled with treasure as well as dead-end routes. At the maze's end, you'll meet the Ancient Devil, one of the game's most powerful bosses.

Instructions

- 1
  Sail west from Tonfon until you reach an island surrounded by a reef. When a whirlpool forms, sail into it. The whirlpool carries you over the reef and allows you to land on the island.

  Head north and stand in front of the barrier that blocks the door. Select the Sol Blade item in your inventory to break the barrier. Continue through the door and into the maze.

  Walk north from the entrance, then turn left and head north down the long hall.

  Turn left at the junction, then go west and follow the path north.

  Head northeast, then walk east until you hit a wall.

  Go north, and then head east at the junction. Go south and follow the outer path around the perimeter of the room.

  Walk south until you hit a dead end. Go west, north and west again.

  Continue west until you reach a junction, and then walk north to enter the save room.
- 9
  Save your game, then head north to enter the Ancient Devil boss room.
