How to Get a Castform in the Game Pokemon Pearl

Although the Castform Pokemon is not native to the Sinnoh region that the game is set in, you can still catch a Castform in "Pokemon Pearl" by visiting the Trophy Garden after you have completed your regional Pokedex. The garden's owner, Mr. Backlot, boasts about seeing a different rare Pokemon there every day; to cover up for his owner, his butler adds the mentioned Pokemon to the garden, giving you a chance to catch it.

Instructions

  Travel to the Pokemon Mansion located on Route 212.

  Enter the mansion, turn right into the corridor and then enter the only open door available to you, Mr. Backlot's office. Save the game.

  Talk to Mr. Backlot and answer "Yes" to all his questions until he boasts about seeing a Pokemon in his garden. If the Pokemon he mentions is Castform, finish the conversation and save. If it is not, finish the conversation, reload and speak to Mr. Backlot again, repeating the process until he mentions Castform.

  Leave the room, head back to the mansion's entrance area and then take the back exit. This leads you to the Trophy Garden.

  Walk around in the grass until you encounter a Castform. Battle it and catch it.
