Help With SuperCard SD Slot-2 Adapters for NDS & NDS Lite

The SuperCard adapter, designed for Nintendo DS and DS Lite, allows you to play homebrew and backup copies of games without the original game cartridges. The SuperCard adapter connects to your Nintendo DS's Slot 2 port. SuperCard lets you play DS and Game Boy Advance games, and some versions of the adapter also support e-readers and movie players.

Set Up Software
- SuperCard comes with a program that allows you to set options and convert game files for use on the Nintendo DS. If your SuperCard didn't include a CD, download the software from the official SuperCard website. Download the latest firmware, as well. Check the website regularly for new firmware. Installing the newest firmware fixes many compatibility problems with new games. Double-click the SuperCard software to install it on the computer.
Convert Games
- To use the SuperCard, you must have games files, also called ROMs. Not all game files are ready to transfer and play when you download them, so the SuperCard software converts the files for you. To add games to the list, click the "Add" button under the Game List tab. Select the files you want to convert. The SuperCard software converts many file types, including NDS, GBA, GB and ZIP. Click "Out" to convert the files to a readable format without any changes.
Select Options
- SuperCard offers several options for advanced users to enable cheats, compress large files and add text files to games. To open the Properties window, double-click any game file. Click the check boxes next to the options you want to enable. To use cheat codes, you must have a code file unless you've created the codes yourself. Download the appropriate code file from a cheat code website and load it into the program. The cheats appear in a box in the Cheat List section. Select the ones you wish to use, click "Add" and then click "OK."
Transfer Games and Start Playing
- An SD card holds the game files used with the SuperCard adapter. Connect the SD card to your computer and go to "My Computer" to view its contents. Copy the converted files to the root of the SD card. Do not transfer ZIP or RAR game files to the SD card. The SuperCard adapter can't open these files. After copying, remove the SD card and insert it into the slot in the SuperCard. Insert the SuperCard into Slot 2 on the Nintendo DS or DS Lite. Scroll to any game and press "A" to begin playing. To perform a soft reset to choose a different game, press the "L," "R," "Select" and "Start" buttons together.
