How to Get Flipnotes From Your Computer

Flipnotes created with Flipnote Studio on the Nintendo DS are viewable from your computer at the Flipnote Hatena website. Users share their flipnote creations in the site's gallery, where people can rank and leave comments about the animation. Nintendo DS Flipnote Studio users can also download any flipnote from the gallery, getting it from computer's browser, to the device.

  Turn on the Nintendo DS device and launch the "Flipnote Studio" program.

  Tap the "Flipnote Hatena" button on the bottom screen of the Nintendo DS. You must be connected to the Internet in order to access the Flipnote Hatena website.

  Browse for a flipnote to view by either category or channel. Tap the category or channel you wish to view and tap the flipnote to start watching it.

  Tap the "Download" button to download the flipnote from the gallery to your Nintendo DS memory card. Once downloaded to your device, you can edit the flipnote in Flipnote Studio.
