How to Use the Downloaded Version of iPlayer for the DSi

IPlayer is a program that plays music and movies on a Nintendo DSi. IPlayer works with a DSi card, a memory card or cart that is used to play videos and music on a DSi. You can use it to watch up to four hours of movies on your DSi or listen to your favorite songs. Use the downloaded upgraded version of iPlayer to upgrade it to the newest version.

  Insert the MicroSD into your PC. Unzip the downloaded iPlayer folder with WinZip or another .ZIP file extraction program. Copy the "update.dat" and "_system folder" from the iPlayer folder onto the MicroSD.

  Insert the MicroSD into the MicroSD slot on the iPlayer card. Turn on the DSi and run the iPlayer. An error message will appear telling you to press and hold the power button to turn off the DSi. Do not turn off the DSi. Wait two minutes for the iPlayer to install and the error message will disappear.

  Turn off the DSi. Use your PC to remove the "update.dat" file from the MicroSD, then reinsert the MicroSD into the iPlayer card. Turn on the DSi. Click on the iPlayer icon to run the program and play your music and movies on your DSi.
