How to Put a PDF on NDS

While the Nintendo DS is primarily used for playing games, it can also be used to read PDF files, allowing you to read your favorite books on the go without having to carry around a separate device. In order to read PDF files on your DS, you'll need to download a third party program that is capable of reading the file. Once you have the program, you'll be able to open any PDF file, as well as some other types of ebook files.

Instructions

  Download a DS PDF reading application. You can try DS Libris or DS Reader. Both are available for free.

  Slide your SD card into the SD card reader attached to your computer.

  Extract the DS reader you downloaded to your SD card by right-clicking on the file's name, selecting "Extract," then choosing your SD card as the location.

  Copy the PDF file you want to use on your DS. To do this, right-click on the PDF file and select "Copy." Open your SD card, right-click, and select "Paste."

  Remove your SD card and slide it into your Nintendo DS.

  Turn on your Nintendo DS and select the DS reader application that you downloaded.

  Choose the PDF file you want to read, then press "A" to read it.
