How to Get an EXP Share in Pokemon Soul Silver Without the Red Scale

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," an EXP Share is an item that can be held by a Pokemon in your party. After each battle, that Pokemon will gain half of the experience from that battle, even if you didn't actively use it. This makes the EXP Share a very useful tool for quickly leveling up low-level Pokemon. You can normally get an EXP Share by giving the Red Scale to Mr. Pokemon. However, you can also win one from the lottery in Goldenrod City.

     Travel to Goldenrod City and head to the radio tower.

     Speak with Felicity and select "Yes" to check that day's lucky number. If the last three digits of the lucky number match the last three digits of the trainer ID number for one of your Pokemon, you will win an EXP Share.

     Continue visiting the radio tower and checking the lucky number every day until you win.
