How to Get to Level 6 on Viva Pinata

Have pinatas visit your garden. Pinatas visit your garden when certain requirements are met, such as having a specific type of plant in your garden. The requirements for each type of pinata are different. Each time a new type of pinata visits your garden, you are awarded a badge; this badge counts toward your completion total, and you are awarded one badge for each action you accomplish in the game.

Make the pinatas become residents in your garden to receive badges for each new type of pinata that becomes a resident. Similar to making a pinata visit, certain requirements must be met before a pinata becomes a resident in the garden. Once these requirements are met, the pinata moves into your garden permanently. These requirements can be viewed in your journal at any time.

Romance two pinatas of the same type together, such as two Sparrowmints. The first time you successfully romance two pinatas of the same type, you receive a badge.

Romance two pinatas of the same type three times to receive a "Master Romancer" badge. The pinatas do not need to be the same two; they can be any two pinatas that are the same type. For example, you do not need to breed the same two Sparrowmints three times; it can be any pair of Sparrowmints that you own.

Create a variant pinata. This can be done by feeding a pinata a certain type of food before romancing. The food necessary is always listed in the journal once the pinata becomes a resident. A variant pinata is one that is a different color than the normal pinatas of its type. Each pinata type can produce one variant, and the first time a variant is made, a badge is given.

Continue to earn badges until you have anywhere from 110 to 120 badges. Once you received that many badges, your completion rate is 40 percent, allowing you to advance to Gardener Level 6.
