How to Get Shiny Charmander in Pearl

The Shiny Charmander is a specially colored form of the Pokemon available in the Game Boy Advance game "Pokemon FireRed." For those wishing to transfer a Shiny Charmander into their Nintendo DS version of "Pokemon Pearl," the handy transfer tool can be used in-game to carry over the Pokemon from one game to the other. Since Shiny Charmanders are not directly collectible in "Pokemon Pearl," game-to-game transfer is the only available means to bring one into your "Pokemon Pearl" game world.

Instructions

      Obtain a Shiny Charmander Pokemon from within the "Pokemon FireRed" Gameboy Advance video game.

      Insert both the "Pokemon FireRed" and the "Pokemon Pearl" cartridges into the appropriate slots in your Nintendo DS.

      Turn on your DS and follow the on-screen instructions to start "Pokemon Pearl."

      Select the "Migrate Pokemon" option from the main menu of "Pokemon Pearl."

      Select the Shiny Charmander Pokemon from the list of saved Pokemon on your "FireRed" game cartridge. This transfers the creature to your "Pokemon Pearl" cartridge.
