How to Fix a Blank Screen for No$GBA No$Zoomer

No$GBA is a Gameboy Advance emulator that, when coupled with No$Zoomer, can also function as a Nintendo DS emulator. Unfortunately, it still has a lot of bugs, one of which is an unwanted blank white or blue screen freeze that appears when playing Pokemon game cartridges, which are known as ROMs. Instead of deleting the game, first try adjusting your system settings or how you play the game, as this may be able to permanently fix the issue.

Instructions

  1. Fixing Blank Screen

    • 1

Encrypt the ROM if you encounter a blank screen whenever you attempt to save your game. While it is possible to play ROMs without them encrypting them, it is more often than not the very reason users encounter errors such as a blank screen.

    • 2

Disable the emulator's audio if, after defeating a Pokemon, you encounter a blank screen. Defeat the Pokemon again and wait until it finishes crying before you enable the sound again.

    • 3

Select the second or third option from the computer box if, when trying to deposit a Pokemon, your screen freezes. Once you finish the deposit, convert the box back to an empty one.

    Encrypting a ROM

    • 4

Download eNDyptS Advanced v1.2, extract it to a directory and then move the ROM you need to encrypt into this directory.

    • 5

Doubleclick "enDryptS Advanced.exe" to start the program.

    • 6

Press the "1" key on your keyboard to begin the encryption process. The program will search the directory and then begin encrypting any ROMs it encounters.

    • 7

Press any key on your keyboard after the encryption has completed to close the dialog box, and then hit the "0" key on your keyboard to exit the program.
