The Pokemon Soul Silver Rare Candy Cheat

Action Replay and Code Entry

• The Action Replay device for the Nintendo DS does contain preset codes, and some versions of the device contain the Rare Candy code for Pokemon Soul Silver. When the code is programmed into the device, it automatically works when selected on the Action Replay. However, if the Action Replay does not contain the code, you have to manually enter the code using the DS keyboard.

Activation

• Enter codes manually only after pressing the "Left" and "Right" shoulder buttons on the Nintendo DS simultaneously. When selecting a code that is already programmed into the Action Replay device, press "Left" and "Right" simultaneously, then highlight and select the code to activate it.

Codes for Versions Below 1.6

• Enter any of the following codes to get max Rare Candy: "94000130 fcff0000," "62111880 00000000," "d5000000 03840011," "d6000000 00000b74" or "d4000000 00000001."

Codes for Version 1.6 and Higher

• Enter any of the following codes to get max Rare Candy: "94000130 fcff0000," "62111880 00000000," "b2111880 00000000," "d5000000 03840011," "c0000000 00000025" or "d6000000 00000b74."

Considerations

• To use any of these cheats, you must already have at least one piece of Rare Candy in your inventory, and it must not be held by a Pokemon, meaning that it must appear in its own inventory slot. Even though the Action Replay cheat alters the game code to allow for this to occur, this is not supported by Nintendo. Using Action Replay or other cheats can void the warranty on your Nintendo DS or your "Pokemon Soul Silver" game cartridge.
