The Story
The story of Pokemon Heart Gold begins with gamers being asked by the character known as Professor Elm to complete a critical task for him. To accomplish the task, gamers will get to travel to the farthest reaches of the mythical world, Johto, in which the adventure takes place. Throughout the journey, gamers meet various obstacles and meet other characters, some who are friendly and some who are foes. They also find numerous pokemon along the way.
Ecruteak City
Before reaching the bell tower in Pokemon Heart Gold, gamers must travel to Ecrutek City. At Ecrutek City, players must find and enter the dance hall. While there, gamers will have to fight five kimono girls named Zuki, Naoko, Miki, Sayo and Kuni to gain an important item that gives players the ability to enter the bell tower. Beating the kimono girls requires skill because players have no opportunity to heal or switch pokemon in between fights.
Clear Bell
Gamers must receive the clear bell in order to enter the bell tower in Pokemon Heart Gold. The clear bell is granted to players after they successfully defeat the five kimono girls in the dance hall at Ecrutek City. After receiving the clear bell, summon Ho-oh. At this point, the kimono girls will flee to the bell tower which you can enter after healing your pokemon from the fight with the kimono girls.
Entering the Bell Tower
Walk through the building just north of the dance hall in Ecrutek City. Talk to the man blocking the stairs in that building. Wait as he lets you in. Walk a short distance to the bell tower. Use the rainbow wing which you received before heading into the dance hall to enter the tower. Work your way through the 10 levels of the bell tower to fight the giant legendary pokemon at the top and move on to the next challenge in the game.
