How to Defeat the Paradox Brothers in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller

The Paradox Brothers are one of the more difficult enemies you encounter in "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller." This fight is tricky because your victory ultimately depends not on your deck but on the deck of your non-playable partner, Jaden. Before the fight begins, Jaden asks if you want to modify his deck before you start; this is the key to the whole duel. By putting the right blend of heroes and abilities in Jaden's deck, you stand a much better chance of achieving victory.

Instructions

- 1
  Remove the following cards from Jaden's deck: all Kuriboh cards (including Winged Kuriboh), Avian, Bubbleman and Neo Bubbleman; these cards are weak compared to the cards held by the Paradox Brothers, and you can replace them with more robust heroes. Also, remove any item cards that can only be used by hero cards that you removed.

  Add the following cards: all Fusion monsters, Exiled Force, D.D. Warrior Lady, Assailant, Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm and all H.E.R.O. spells. These cards are very effective against the cards held by the Paradox Brothers.

  Hang on to two Skyscraper cards. Add any hero-specific item cards that go along with the cards you added in Step 2. After adjusting Jaden's deck, you should have a deck with roughly 40 cards. If you find yourself falling short, add your best monster removal cards.
