How to Create a New File on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

In "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time," a roguelike spinoff of the official "Pokemon" games released on the Nintendo DS handheld console, you can take on the role of a human who has turned into a Pokemon. If you want to start or restart playing, you must create a new save file first. The steps for starting or restarting a game are the same process.

     Load "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" to the main menu and press "Start."

     Highlight "New Game," the first option on the main menu.

     Press "A" to create the new file. If you have a previously saved file, the game will inform you that it will be lost and ask if you wish to continue.

     Highlight "Yes" and press "A" to confirm your decision, starting a new game.
