How to Get Fertilizer in SoulSilver

In "Pokemon Soulsilver," fertilizing mulch helps players grow berries that give bonuses to Pokemon. Players can purchase four types of fertilizing mulches: growth mulch, damp mulch, stable mulch and gooey mulch. Each fertilizer has a different effect on berry seeds. Some mulch can speed up the growth of the berries, increase the effects of the berries or increase the number of times that berry seeds can be replanted.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to Route 36. Splash water on the bush blocking the path; a Sudowoodo will then attack you.

  Defeat the Sudowoodo with one of your Pokemon. It is weak against Water-type Pokemon as well as status effects such as Sleep and Paralysis.

  Speak with the girl near the tree, close to the bush; she will give you four Berry Pots as a reward.
- 4
  Purchase one of the four types of fertilizer from the girl or from the flower shop in Goldenrod. Each type of fertilizer cost 200p.
