How to Get the Clowns to Go Away in Pokemon Pearl

In "Pokemon Pearl," your character travels around the cities of Sinnoh, a third generation Pokemon region, during his travels. At some point, your character meets up with three clowns inside Jubilife City, one of which is blocking his way into the television tower. You cannot get rid of this clown as soon as you meet him, and you must complete a few actions before the clowns disappear, granting you access inside the tower.

Instructions

  Play through the game as normal until you reach Jubilife City for the first time. When you enter the city, a man accosts you before letting you pass through. Upon entering the city, you can find three clowns: one near the PokeCenter, one in front of the TV tower, and one near the Pokewatch Company.

  Walk up to each of the three clowns and press "A." Each clown asks you three questions. Answer "Yes" to all of them, and they will each give you a coupon. Return to the bold man at the entrance of the city and give him the coupons in exchange for a Pokewatch.

  Walk east onto Route 203 until you reach the cave entrance. This route is chock full of trainers, including your rival. Some can be avoided, but you may need to frequently return to Jubilife to heal your Pokemon before resuming. Enter the cave when you finally reach it.

  Navigate through the cave to its exit. The path is simple, and you will not have difficulty finding your way to Route 207. Beware of the other trainers and random encounters here as well.

  Continue along the path of Route 207 until you enter Oreburgh City. Enter the Oreburgh City Gym and defeat Roark, a Rock-type fighter. If you have Water-type Pokemon, they will prevail easily in this battle.

  Return to Jubilife City. When you return to the city after defeating the Oreburgh Gym Leader, you will find the clowns are gone. Enter the television station as normal.
