What Pokemon Does Ash Have in Pokemon Soul Silver?

After defeating the Elite Four in "Pokemon Soul Silver," you can climb Mt. Silver and battle Red, the trainer waiting at the top. Red is based off of Ash Ketchum, a character from the Pokemon anime series. He has all of Ash's signature Pokemon, wears Ash's signature red hat and is the strongest Pokemon trainer in the game.

Pikachu
- Red's first Pokemon is a level 88 Pikachu. It is holding a light ball, which doubles the strength of its attack and special attack. It is an electric-type Pokemon, and it has the ability "Static," which means there is a 30 percent chance a Pokemon will become paralyzed when it attacks Pikachu. It also knows four moves: "Volt Tackle," "Iron Tail," "Quick Attack" and "Thunderbolt."
Lapras
- Red's second Pokemon is a level 80 Lapras. Lapras is a water/ice-type Pokemon, and it is not holding any items. It has the ability "Shell Armor," which means it will never be hit by a critical hit, and it knows four moves: "Blizzard," "Brine," "Psychic" and "Body Slam."
