What Do You Do After You Beat Groudon in Pokemon SoulSilver?

In your adventures through Nintendo's "Pokemon SoulSilver" you will secure the stolen red orb and return it to its rightful place in the Embedded Tower. This tower is the home of the legendary Pokemon Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. When you arrive, you will battle and capture Groudon; however, there are more steps to take before you can capture all three of the highly sought-after beasts.
  1. Kyogre

    • To continue you will need to add the legendary Kyogre to your collection. However, the one you need is only obtainable in "Pokemon HeartGold." Though he is technically available in older games, only the "HeartGold" version of Kyogre will work. Simply repeat the same steps you took to catch Groudon except in "HeartGold" instead. When you reach the Embedded Tower, you will battle Kyogre instead of Groudon. Catch him and transfer him to your "Pokemon SoulSilver" cartridge. Alternatively, you can trade for that specific version of Kyogre with another player.

    Jade Orb

    • Return to Professor Oak in Pallet Town with both Kyogre and Groudon. Make sure both legendaries are in your party. When you speak to him, the professor will reward you with the jade orb, the companion to the red orb of "Pokemon SoulSilver" and the blue orb of "Pokemon HeartGold." Just as the other two orbs unlock Groudon and Kyogre respectively, the jade orb is the key to releasing Rayquaza.

    Embedded Tower

    • Head back to the Embedded Tower on Route 47. This is the same place that you originally caught Groudon in "Pokemon SoulSilver" and Kyogre in "Pokemon HeartGold." You will need rock climb and surf to make it up the mountain to the tower's entrance. With the jade orb in your inventory you will find Rayquaza instead of the other legendaries.

    Battle Rayquaza

    • Rayquaza is a level 50 dragon and flying hybrid. Ice-type moves provide the strongest source of damage to quickly lower his health. Like other dragons, Rayquaza deals half damage to steel-type Pokemon, so consider bringing a party with Pokemon of that type. To make the capture, try using heavy and dusk balls after he is weakened by your attacks.
