How to Get Zorua Without an Event in Pokemon Black Game

The Nintendo DS game "Pokemon Black" introduces a new set of Pokemon species to the long-running monster-catching franchise. One particularly hard-to-find new species is the Zorua, a dark-type that is normally only available with special events or by cheating. However, there are techniques available to add a legitimate Zorua to your arsenal and complete your Pokedex without relying on a Pokemon event happening in your area.

Instructions

  1. Breeding

    • 1

Obtain a Zoroark, the evolved form of Zorua. If you cannot get Zoroark from an event, you can trade with another player. Because the Zoroark event is tied to the release of the "M13" Pokemon movie, Zoroarks are very common and easy to trade for.

    • 2

Drop your Zoroark and a Ditto off at a daycare to begin breeding.

    • 3

Return to the daycare after some time to receive an egg containing a Zorua.

    • 4

Walk around until the egg hatches, giving you a new Zorua.

    Celebi

    • 5

Trade with another player for a Celebi, the extremely rare legendary Pokemon. Because Celebi is only available at special events, a trade for a Celebi may turn out to be very costly. If necessary, you can make the trade with another Nintendo DS Pokemon game such as "Pokemon HeartGold."

    • 6

Transfer a Celebi to your game using the Relocator in Castelia City. The passwords are "Everyone Happy" and "Simple Connection." If you were able to trade for the Celebi using "Pokemon Black," you will not need to use the Relocator.

    • 7

Place the Celebi in your party and make sure you have at least one empty space available.

    • 8

Search the buildings of Castelia City. One of the townspeople will turn out to be a Zorua in disguise. If Celebi is in your party, the disguise will be lifted and Zorua will join your party without incident.
