How to Take Apples Out of Trees in Littlest Pet Shop Biggest Stars on the Nintendo DS
"Littlest Pet Shop Biggest Stars" is based on the popular children's toys and cartoon. Throughout the game you complete quests to unlock new pets and challenges. To keep your energy up, the pet you play with must consume apples. These apples are found in trees, but are only consumable when you knock them off of the branches. This is not done with a button sequence or touching the tree with the stylus. It is completed with your actual pet.
Instructions

Walk up to the tree containing apples.

Point your animal's face toward the apples.

Hit the "A" button to make the animal blow at the tree. The apples will fall and then you can consume them.
