How to Get Snorlax Out of the Way to Go to Pewter City in Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" takes you on an adventure to find the eight gym badges in the Kanto region. On your way to Pewter City to win the Boulder Badge, you find a hulking Snorlax sleeping on the road. You cannot move the Snorlax, and it won't wake up on its own. To wake up Snorlax and make it move, you need to play a special song on your radio.

Instructions

  Go to Cerulean City, located north of Saffron City. Go inside the gym and walk to the northwest corner of the room.

  Face the white and red tubes in the corner. Press the "A" button. If you defeated Misty in this gym earlier, you get a machine part.

  Leave Cerulean City from the eastern exit. Walk east on Route 9. Surf at the water's edge until you find the power plant.

  Head to the top floor and speak to the man on the ledge that overlooks the bottom floor. Return the machine part and he will repair the power plant.

  Fly directly to Lavender Town, or surf south on Route 10 to get there. Enter the tallest building -- Kanto Radio Tower. Talk to anyone in the room to get the expansion card.

  Return to Cerulean City. Walk west until you find Snorlax blocking the road. Select the radio in your inventory and change the station to Poke Flute. Talk to Snorlax to wake it up. Fight or catch the Snorlax to continue on to Pewter City.
