The first release for the "Harvest Moon" series on the Nintendo DS, "Harvest Moon DS" uses the same gameplay as other titles in the series. Your primary goal in the game is to start and maintain a farm while profiting from it as much as possible. Animals are a vital part of this, including sheep, which provide wool for sale. As a part of maintaining your farm, you must keep your sheep happy, which entails putting them in the shed when it rains outside.

Walk next to the sheep that you want to put into the shed.

Press the direction in which you want to move the sheep. For example, stand on the left side of the sheep and press "Right" to push the sheep toward the shed.

Continue pushing the sheep until you reach the shed. When the sheep is inside the shed, it will disappear from the screen.
