How to Accept a Quest in LEGO Harry Potter for DSi

"LEGO Harry Potter" follows the plot of the "Harry Potter" series during Harry Potter's first four years at Hogwarts, although players can deviate from the occurrences of the original story while accomplishing quests. The quests utilize spells and game mechanics in new ways to help gamers learn tricks that enable them to take on later challenges. Some quests offer coins, called studs, in exchange for completion, while others provide information or passage to new locations.

  Enter a region of Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest or Privet Drive through the Room of Requirement, which acts as the hub for all the years and levels of the game.

  Locate a character with a blue star icon hovering over his head. This indicates that the character is willing to send you on a quest.

  Tap a quest giver with your stylus to review the relevant information, including the goals of the quest and the rewards Harry should expect for completing it. Quest objectives can range from simple tasks like collecting items to more difficult ones like solving puzzles and defeating enemies.

  Select "Accept" in the quest information pop-up box to begin the quest.
