How to Make the Caterpillar Jump in Alice in Wonderland for DS

"Alice in Wonderland" for the Nintendo DS lets you unlock and control four different characters from that universe. The caterpillar is called Absolem, and while he doesn't have the ability to perform a conventional jump, he can change the direction of gravity in certain areas. This ability will let you get past several obstacles that were previously insurmountable. Using this ability for the first time will send you on your way to the Mad Hatter's tea party.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you unlock Absolem, the caterpillar. Go to the left until you see a shimmering ray of green light.

  Tap the rabbit icon in the upper-right corner of the screen with the stylus. Click the antenna to select Absolem.

  Press any button while Absolem is standing in green light after you see the "!" symbol. You'll then see an "Up" and "Down" arrow next to the character. Tap the "Up" symbol to reverse gravity so that you're walking on the ceiling. If you need to leave the ceiling, press any button when you see the "!" symbol, and then tap the "Down" arrow symbol to restore normal gravity.
