What to Do in Chapter Two of Alice in Wonderland for DS

In "Alice in Wonderland" for the Nintendo DS, chapter two is the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Events and characters in the video game derive from the Alice in Wonderland movie directed by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Players need to complete certain objectives to progress to chapter three. These include finding the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat, locating puzzle pieces for the Oraculum map and fighting a few key enemies.
  1. Collect The Oraculum Map Pieces

    • The game features an interactive map and players must find the next piece to progress through various zones in Underland. The first map piece is in Tulgey Woods and unlocks the area of Tulgey Swamps. The second piece is for Tulgey Ruins, found in the core of Mushroom Forest. The third and final piece is for Tulgey Mill, located in Tulgey Ruins. Tulgey Mill is the last location explored by players in chapter two.

    Find The Cheshire Cat

    • The Cheshire Cat is a playable character in "Alice in Wonderland," with special abilities that assist with gameplay. One is an invisibility power that toggles an item's visibility on screen, and the other is an extending bridge. Players can find him within the Tulgey Ruins at the blue-striped tree and add him to the team. His powers are key in finding the Tulgey Mill map piece.

    Find The Mad Hatter

    • One of the Mad Hatter's special powers has to do with manipulating perspective. This ability unlocks secret areas and uncovers hidden doors. His other powers are crush and sprint, both of which are useful in a fight. To find the Mad Hatter, travel west after entering the Tulgey Mill area and teleport inside the mill. Use the second teleporter inside and then continue to the right, towards the tea party where the Mad Hatter is waiting to join the team.

    Defeat Two Bosses

    • The first boss in chapter two is the Bandersnatch. The player must defeat this boss with one of the Caterpillar's special powers, which is reversing gravity in places where green mist is present. Switching gravity and throwing the Bandersnatch to the ceiling or floor momentarily stuns it and makes it vulnerable to attack. For Stayne, the second boss, the White Rabbit is the best character to use. Use the roll method to dodge Stayne's attacks, especially during the spinning move, then jump over him and attack from behind. Repeat until Stayne runs off and the Mad Hatter joins the party.
