Instructions
Wait until your Nintendog is hungry or thirsty.
Neglect your Nintendog's request for food or water.
Ignore your Nintendog further by not petting it or acknowledging its existence. It is important not to give your Nintendog any attention during this stage if you want it to run away.
Continue this period of inactivity. If you need to leave your Nintendo DS temporarily, set it down with the screen open and the power on. Sometimes, you might need to leave your DS untouched for many hours or days to make your Nintendog run away.
Check frequently to see if your Nintendog has run away.
Tap the screen of your Nintendo DS.
Wait for your Nintendog to return.
