How to Have More Than Eight Pets on Nintendogs

In the game "Nintendogs" for the Nintendo DS, you can raise and train various breeds of dogs from the time they are puppies until they are fully grown. The Nintendogs interact with you by learning commands and spending time cuddling up with you. You can earn money in the game by making progress in your training skills; earning money allows you to unlock items, decor and even houses in the game. If you earn enough, you can buy the Outer Space Home, which allows you enough space to take on more pets.

Instructions

  Enter your Nintendogs in Disc Competitions, Obedience Trials and Agility Trials to earn money in the game. Winning these competitions will garner between $600 and $2,000 dollars. These trials also help build up your Trainer Points; you need 18,000 trainer points to unlock the Outer Space House.

  Save the money you earn from your competition winnings; the Outer Space Home requires $100,000 in the game's money.

  Train your dogs on a daily basis, even if you do not enter them in a competition on that particular day. Daily training regimens will build up your Trainer Points; obtain at least 18,000 so the Outer Space House will be available to you.

  Purchase the Outer Space House. You will now be able to purchase more Nintendogs than the original limit of eight. Some of the dogs will have to spend their time between the Pet Hotel and any other homes you own in the game, but you will be able to interact with all of them on a rotating basis.
