How to Get the Key Upstairs on Mario for DS

In "Super Mario 64 DS," you play alone or with a partner to defeat different bosses and ultimately save the kingdom. One of the differences between this "Mario" game and others is that you must search for keys to unlock different characters. The key to unlock Wario is found upstairs in the palace, after you've earned 30 stars and beaten Bowser twice. Once you have Wario, you can use his skills to defeat harder bosses in the game.

Instructions

  Visit the palace courtyard. Hit the big Boo to beat him. Get in the bird cage that he drops. Completely kill the big Boo to get the Luigi Key. Go next to the Luigi picture and insert the key to unlock Luigi.

  Go to the upstairs room that contains Snowman's Land. Get the Power Flower, which will make you invisible, allow you to walk through objects and render you untouchable to enemies. Run through the mirror hanging on the wall.

  Jump on top of Chief Chilly until you defeat him to get the key.
