How to Create a New Account on Nintendogs: Lab & Friends

"Nintendogs: Lab & Friends," released for the Nintendo DS in 2005, is a simulation game in which you take care of a young puppy. You are responsible for the puppy's well-being, including grooming it, teaching it tricks and taking it on walks. When creating a new game, you select your new puppy, which becomes registered to your game account. From then on, whenever you start the game, you are greeted by the same puppy, with your progress being saved automatically as you play.

  Launch "Nintendogs: Lab & Friends."

  Tap on the kennel door to open it.

  Tap on the arrow in the bottom-right corner three times to proceed through the tutorial messages.

  Select "Look" to view the puppies in the kennel. Select "Buy" to purchase a puppy.

  Select the breed that you would like to purchase, followed by the gender and the color scheme.

  Select "Confirm" to purchase a puppy. The price of the puppy varies, but you have enough money upon starting the game to purchase any puppy that you want.

  Select "Yes" and tap on the arrow in the bottom-right corner twice to scroll through the messages. The game will save, and you will be taken to your home with your new puppy, creating your "Nintendogs: Lab & Friends" account.
