How to Get More Master Balls in Pokemon SoulSilver for DS Without an Action Replay

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," the Master Ball is a special item that allows you to automatically catch a Pokemon without having to battle it. The Master Ball is a useful tool for capturing difficult Legendary Pokemon. However, you receive only one during the course of the game's storyline. Although cheat codes for the Action Replay allow you to add Master Balls to your game, you risk potential data loss whenever you hack a game by using a cheating device. To receive another Master Ball without cheating, you need to try your luck with the daily lottery.

     Fly to Goldenrod City.

     Walk west to the radio tower and enter the lobby.

     Talk to the woman who is behind the counter to enter the daily lottery. She will check the lottery number against the ID numbers of all of your Pokemon. If all five lottery numbers match the ID number of one of your Pokemon, you will receive a Master Ball. Check the lottery number every day to see if you are a winner.
