How to Get the Pitcher to Pitch the Ball on Wiffle Ball for DS

Not one of the best-reviewed Nintendo DS games -- it stands with an aggregate score of 22 out of 100 points on Metacritic.com -- "Wiffle Ball" took much criticism for its controls. When batting in the game, it's necessary to cue the pitcher to throw the ball, either by touching the DS stylus to the right part of the screen or by holding down the "A" button.

     Use the left and right buttons on the directional pad to position your batter behind the plate.

     Press the DS stylus to the screen's red batter box for three seconds; alternately, hold down the A button.

     Swing by sweeping the stylus across the batter's box or releasing the A button as the ball crosses the plate.
