Games: Is There Any Way to Teleport in Golden Sun Dark Dawn?

In "Golden Sun: The Lost Age," the predecessor to "Golden Sun: Dark Dawn," you could use the Teleport Lapis to teleport to different areas throughout the game. The item was used with special teleportation platforms. In "Golden Sun: Dark Dawn," this item no longer exists, though there are still teleportation platforms. These platforms only exist in two key areas that you must explore during the main quest of the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Play through the game until you reach the Yamata Ruins. Yamata is the city east of the Iceburg Outpost, where you must go after completing your business in Champa. The entrance to the ruins is at the palace in the northern quadrant of Yamata.

    • 2

Walk straight through the first room in the ruins into the back room. You will see a sort of shrine in the center of the room with a table set up with food. Walk around the table to get to the back of the room.

    • 3

Walk up to the white circular platform with the intricate designs on it. Climb on top of it to be teleported to a different room in the Yamata ruins. Explore the rest of the ruins by standing on these teleporter platforms as you find them.

    • 4

Play through the game until you reach the Snowdrift Shrine. This is on an island northwest of the Iceburg Outpost. The cave entrance to the shrine can be found by casting the Search spell in the north of the Lonely Island Ruins.

    • 5

Head north after entering the Snowdrift Shrine. Cast Search again to reveal a teleporter platform. This will send you deeper into the shrine -- you must use the corresponding platform to teleport back to the shrine's entrance when you are finished exploring.
