Sometimes when playing a new game, the only way to move forward is to start from scratch. If your "LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga" play-through on your DSi isn't turning out the way you were hoping, you can start over simply by starting a new game within the main menu. Starting a new game should write over any old saved game data. If you're running into a problem with getting the old game file to disappear, you may need to reformat your DSi's system memory. Keep in mind that reformatting will delete all of the data on your DSi, such as system settings and downloads.

Select the wrench icon on the main DSi menu to open the Settings menu.

Go to page 4 of the Settings options by pressing the right arrow. Select "Format System Memory."
