How to Get the DSi WPS Setup to Work

Getting the Wi-Fi Protected Setup feature of the Nintedo DSi to work will allow you to connect your hand-held gaming device to your wireless network and play against other players in your favorite games. WPS features allow devices from different manufacturers to connect wirelessly over an encrypted network. Activate the WPS feature of your router to get the WPS setup feature of the Nintendo DSi to work.

     Turn on the Nintendo DSi and tap the wrench icon in the menu page that opens. Tap the "Internet" button in the menu that appears.

     Tap the "Connection Settings" button and press "Advanced Setup." Tap one of the open profiles and tap the "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" icon.

     Tap the "Push Button Connection" button on the DSi and press the "WPS" button on your router until the "Wireless Indicator" LED on the DSi lights up.
