How to Attract a Bonboon on Viva Pinata for DS

The Bonboon is a pinata that looks like a baboon in the Nintendo DS garden simulator, "Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise." You won't be able to attract a Bonboon to your garden before you already have one residing there. Your initial encounters will be with the "sour" version of this piñata, which is a destructive creature that enters your garden only to break things and cause havoc. If you are able to tame this beast, however, it will transform into the more peaceful version.

  Play the game as normal until you become a level nine gardener or higher. You level up by attracting pinatas to your garden, making them reside there and breeding with them. Once you surpass level nine, there is a chance that the malevolent Sour Bonboon will start appearing and causing trouble in your garden.

  Breed with Syrupent pinatas until you have a Fourheads. Do this by hitting a Syrupent egg with your shovel just before it hatches to get a Twingersnap. Do the same when breeding with the Twingersnap and you'll hatch a Fourheads.

  Wait for the Sour Bonboon to visit your garden and move all your other pinatas away from it. Select your Fourheads and direct it toward the Sour Bonboon. A fight will eventually break out between the two pinatas. If the Sour Bonboon is defeated, it will turn into a normal Bonboon and become a resident of your garden. If the Fourheads loses the fight, call in the doctor to heal it and try again.

  Plant a Monkeynut tree in your garden as soon as the Bonboon you have tamed is a resident. The combination of this tree and the tamed Bonboon will start to attract other Bonboons to your garden.
