How to Catch the Little Pink Thing on Viva Pinata for the Nintendo DS

Published by THQ, "Pocket Paradise" is the portable version of "Viva Pinata" for the Nintendo DS. Players split their time between tending to plants and creating habitats for dozens of species of pinata. A tiny, elusive pink pinata called a Galagoogoo appears in the player's garden at night. Of all the pinatas in the game, it least resembles a real-world creature, instead looking like a pointy-eared alien. In order to get one to stay, the player needs to fill his garden with Mothdrops and tulips, the Galagoogoo's favored snack. The player doesn't so much catch the Galagoogoo as tempt it into staying.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to town and visit Costolot's General Store. Purchase a Moon-on-a-Stick and four tulip seeds.

    • 2

Return to your garden. Plant the tulip seeds and water them to make them sprout.

    • 3

Drop the Moon-on-a-Stick near the tulips. It will attract Mothdrops at night.

    • 4

Continue watering the tulips regularly. Watch their smiley faces. If they start to frown, they need more water. Do not over-water them, though. Once they bloom, the Galagoogoo will start eating them.

    • 5

Wait for the Galagoogoo to eat at least four tulips and two mothdrops. Once he's done this, he'll settle down in your garden.
