"Nintendogs" is a real-time pet simulation game for the Nintendo DS console. Players use the DS's touch screen and built-in microphone to train, feed and walk a variety of virtual dogs. Player progress is automatically saved to the Nintendogs cartridge as you find new items and teach your dogs new tricks. However, sometimes a player may wish to erase the data they have saved, either to start over fresh or to allow someone else to play from the beginning.

Insert the Nintendogs game cartridge into your DS and turn the unit on. Touch the screen when the start-up screen appears.

Touch the Nintendogs icon on the system menu.

Hold down the "X," "Y," "B," "A," "L" and "R" buttons when the Nintendo logo appears.

Select "Yes" on the screen that appears. Select "Yes" on the next screen as well.
