How Do I Get Rhyperior in Pokemon SoulSilver?

Rhyperior is a Ground and Rock-type Pokemon introduced in the fourth generation ̶0;Diamond,̶1; ̶0;Pearl,̶1; and ̶0;Platinum̶1; games for the Nintendo DS. It is the evolved form of Rhydon and the final evolution of Rhyhorn. While its prior forms suffered from a quadruple weakness to both Water and Grass-type attacks, Rhyperior̵7;s ̶0;Solid Rock̶1; ability halves the damage from super-effective attacks, allowing it to survive many attacks that would otherwise knock it out. To obtain a Rhyperior in ̶0;HeartGold̶1; or ̶0;SoulSilver,̶1; players must capture and evolve a Rhyhorn.

Instructions

  Enter Victory Road from either Route 26 or the Indigo Plateau. Roam the cave until a Rhyhorn appears.

  Lower Rhyhorn̵7;s HP into the red zone, and inflict it with Sleep. Throw Ultra Balls at Rhyhorn until it is caught.

  Raise Rhyhorn to level 42 in battle or with Rare Candies, to evolve it into Rhydon.

  Head to Route 42, and enter Mt. Mortar from the west entrance. Use Rock Climb on the cliff to the north, and pick up the Protector. Give the Protector to Rhydon.

  Fly to Goldenrod City, and enter the Global Trade Station. Offer Rhydon for an impossible trade, such as a level 9 and under Mewtwo, and immediately withdraw your offer. Rhydon will return to you and evolve into Rhyperior.
