How to Get Scizor Platinum Wi-Fi

"Pokemon Platinum," the third Pokemon game released for the Nintendo DS, includes many of the same features as previous games "Pearl" and "Diamond," such as trading over a Wi-Fi connection. The Global Trade Station allows players to trade Pokemon with other players from all over the world. All Pokemon can be traded through the GTS, such as Scizor, a Bug/Steel-type Pokemon. A Wi-Fi connection is required to access the GTS and trade for Scizor.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to Jubilife City, located north of Sandgem Town and west of Oreburgh City.

    • 2

Enter the Global Terminal building. The Global Terminal is located left of the Trainer's School and is a large, blue building with a Wi-Fi signal on the front of it. The Global Terminal building holds all of the Wi-Fi features in "Pokemon Platinum," such as the GTS.

    • 3

Speak to the woman behind the desk in the upper left corner of the Global Terminal to access the GTS.

    • 4

      Select "Trade" followed by "Yes."

    • 5

Select "Yes" to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection using your wireless Internet connection.

    • 6

Select "Seek Pokemon," followed by "STU" and "Scizor." Select "Search" to search for all available Scizors for trade.

    • 7

Tap any of the trainers that appear. The statistics of that trainer's Scizor are shown along with the Pokemon the trainer wants for it.

    • 8

Press "A" to trade for Scizor if you have the appropriate Pokemon. Select "Yes" to finalize the trade. The Pokemon you have selected is taken from you and replaced by the Scizor.

    • 9

Exit the GTS when the trade is complete and save your game.
