How to Get a Horse in Your Garden in Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise

Despite the name of the Nintendo DS game, "Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise" does not exclusively contain pinatas to feature in your garden. In addition to this, you can attract numerous other animals to live inside your garden, including a horse named Horstachio. Before you can get Horstachio to live in your garden, you must meet certain prerequisites in the game, including having a certain amount of garden space.

Instructions

    • 1

Load your previously saved game of "Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise."

    • 2

Play through the game until you reach Level 6. Level 6 is the minimum required to attract Horstachio to your garden.

    • 3

Expand your garden as you level up. If you frequently expand your garden, you will have at least 500 pinometers of grass in your garden, which Horstachio needs to visit.

    • 4

Purchase a Ponocky from Gretchen and place it anywhere in your garden. This meets the minimum requirement to have Horstachio visit your garden.

    • 5

Give Horstachio eight apples to eat. After the eighth apple, Horstachio will change his status from "Visitor" to "Resident" and this lets you have a horse in your garden.
